43 Potash Railcars Derail

Some 43 west-bound Canadian Pacific Railway potash railcars derailed around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 22, near the southern Alberta town of Fort Macleod, according to The Canadian Press. No injuries were reported, and there was no danger to the public. Traffic on Highway 3 was rerouted to allow crews to work at the scene. The track reopened on Monday, May 23.
