U.S. Imports:
December phosphate rock imports were reported lifting 101.0 percent, to 267,374 st from 133,028 st one year earlier. Imports for the July-December period climbed 49.4 percent year-over-year, to 1.60 million st from 1.07 million st.
Tons sourced from Peru totaled 1.48 million st in the July-December period, rising 39.9 percent from 1.06 million in 2019, while buyers purchased 111,584 st from Morocco after importing zero Moroccan tons in the same period last year.
