Zuari Agro Chemicals completed the sale of fertilizer assets in Goa, India, to Paradeep Phosphates, according to a June 1 filing. Soon after, Zuari Agro shares surged 14%, the most since April 18, according to Bloomberg. Zuari Agro’s Board of Directors approved the sale to Paradeep for $280 million in February 2021 (GM Feb. 26, 2021).
