SOP imports for July-December were off 42.7%, dropping to 51,496 st from 89,932 st logged in the same period of 2021. December imports lifted 966.9%, however to 24,216 st from the prior-year 2,270 st.
US Exports:
Exports were down 62.4% in December, to 1,183 st from 3,150 st in December 2021. July-December exports softened 5.0%, to 27,251 st from the year-ago 28,679 st.
California:
SOP pricing in California was steady at $850/st FOB Woodland and Turlock, $860/st FOB Chico, and $900/st FOB Stockton.
Pacific Northwest:
Granular SOP pricing was steady at $870-$875/st FOB in the Pacific Northwest.
