An estimated 29 women and children became unconscious and were taken to local hospitals after an ammonia gas leak at a Karachi fish processing facility, according to The Nation in an Aug. 9 edition.
Reports varied as to whether it was a leak or an explosion. The injured were reported to include employees as well as local residents in the nearby neighborhood.
