Phosphoric Acid

Eastern Cornbelt:

January phosphoric acid postings were steady at $11.90/unit rail-DEL in the Eastern Cornbelt. Postings firmed $0.25/unit on Feb. 1, however, to $12.15/unit rail-DEL in the region.

Western Cornbelt:

The phos acid market strengthened on Feb. 1 to $12.15/unit rail-DEL in the Western Cornbelt, up from $11.90/unit rail-DEL in January.

Southern Plains:

The phos acid market was reported at $11.90/unit rail-DEL for January tons in the Southern Plains, but a $0.25/unit increase on Feb. 1 pushed the list price to $12.15/unit rail-DEL in the region.

Western US:

February pricing for phos acid was quoted at $12.25/unit rail-DEL in California and the Pacific Northwest, up $0.25/unit from January. Postings at Pocatello, Idaho, firmed on Feb. 1 to $11.75/unit FOB, up from $11.50/unit in January, with MGA reference pricing in California strengthening to $12.45/unit FOB Lathrop.
