Junior sulfate of potash developer Australian Potash Ltd. (APC), Subiaco, Western Australia, reports it has signed a second binding offtake deal with Germany’s Helm AG for potassium sulfate (SOP) from its Lake Wells SOP project.
The two companies have inked a binding 10-year take-or-pay term sheet for 20,000 mt/y K-Brite™ SOP for distribution in the U.S. APC and Helm inked a term sheet in August for 30,000 mt K-Brite under a binding ten-year take-or-pay agreement for geographic distribution rights through several European jurisdictions.
Th Australian SOP junior now has binding offtake agreements in place for a total of 150,000 mt/y of its Lake Wells SOP, equating to 100 percent of projected output.
