US Imports:
May phosphate rock imports were 225,080 st, up 106.5% from the year-ago 108,985 st. July-May import volumes firmed 14.6%, to 2.85 million st from the prior-year 2.48 million st.
Imports from Peru were recorded at 2.84 million st for July-May, while material loading from Japan totaled 5,066 st. Canada sent 4,721 st.
US Exports:
May wet-process phosphoric acid exports moved 21.7% higher, to 11,413 st from 9,375 st in May 2022. July-May totals were up 14.6% year-over-year, rising to 274,362 st from 239,369 st.
India received 176,919 st of US phos acid in the July-May period, topping both 61,694 st to Mexico and 32,421 st sent to Canada.

Ammonium thiosulfate prices were steady at C$635-$655/mt FOB for the last offers in Eastern Canada.
Germany/Benelux:
Yara posted a new list price on July 13 of €297/mt bulk CIF for September deliveries of CAN-27 (YaraBelaNitromag). The new price marks a €5/mt increase on the posting for July deliveries. Once again, the supplier warned that only limited volume will be available at this price.
Poland:
Grupa Azoty reported that its June output of NPK fertilizers fell 47% year-over-year, to 36,000 mt from 68,000 mt. The group’s production of “specialty” fertilizers declined to just 7,000 mt during the month, down from 19,000 mt in June 2022.
Cornbelt:
The NPSZ market was unchanged at $555-$595/st FOB in the Cornbelt, depending on location.
US Imports:
May SOP imports firmed 40.2%, to 22,699 st from 16,189 st in May 2022. Imports fell 31.2% in July-May, however, to 116,928 st from the year-ago 169,983 st. Imports from Germany totaled 66,323 st in July-May, ahead of 27,733 st from Canada. Belgium sent 18,699 st.
US Exports:
May SOP exports fell 91.1%, to 1,128 st from the year-ago 12,679 st. July-May exports were down 31.8%, to 43,572 st from 63,903 st in the prior year. July-May exports to Mexico totaled 27,794 st. Canada took 7,165 st, while Colombia purchased 5,687 st.

The SOP market in Eastern Canada was quoted at C$1,200-$1,273/mt FOB in early July, down C$50/mt at the low end of the range.
