Mexico’s Grupo Fertinal, a subsidiary of Mexican state oil company Pemex, on Aug. 26 informed customers and suppliers that it has declared force majeure due to a strike. A group of workers were reported to have started the strike at a Grupo Fertinal plant in Lazaro Cardenas on Aug. 26, according to a Bloomberg report, citing the local Reforma.
