A tender by PIH for 30,000 mt – 45,000 mt of granular closed Monday, March 29 at $345/mt FOB. Agrifert Liven came in with the winning bid for the full tonnage. The price is $16/mt lower than the $361/mt FOB from the last tender, but higher than the reserve price of $340/mt FOB set by the producer. Shipment is slated for May. If it can be loaded by April 28, the material could be used to cover the Liven awards into India.
