IOC Announces Price Increases for AS, ATS

Citing increased demand, strong ag fundamentals, and rising input costs, Interoceanic Corp. (IOC) has announced another price increase for PCI’s premium grade granular ammonium sulfate and ammonium thiosulfate.

Ammonium sulfate postings are firming to $230/st FOB Houston, Texas, St. Louis, Mo., and Delta terminals; $235/st FOB Upper Mississippi and Illinois River terminals; $240/st FOB Ohio River terminals; $250/st FOB Sioux City, Iowa; $235/st rail-DEL in the Southern Plains; and $245/st rail-DEL in the Northern Plains. The company’s reference for NOLA barges is now $200/st FOB. Those prices follow IOC’s Jan. 7 postings, which included $215/st FOB Houston and $245/st FOB Sioux City and reflected a $20/st increase from earlier levels.

IOC’s ammonium thiosulfate postings have firmed $15-$20/st, to $175/st FOB Houston, $215/st FOB Southern Plains terminals, and $235/st FOB Ohio River terminals.
