Interoceanic (IOC) on May 26 announced a price increase for PCI Nitrogen’s premium grade granular ammonium sulfate and ammonium thiosulfate (ATS), effective immediately.
New ammonium sulfate prices include $295/st FOB Houston, Texas; $320/st FOB St. Louis, Mo., and Delta terminals; $325/st FOB Tampa, Fla., and Upper Mississippi and Illinois River terminals; $330/st FOB Ohio River terminals; and $350/st FOB Sioux City, Iowa. Compared with IOC’s previous list prices published on May 3, those levels reflect a $20/st increase at St. Louis, Delta terminals, and Sioux City, and a $15/st increase at Tampa and out of terminals on the Upper Mississippi, Illinois, and Ohio Rivers.
IOC’s rail-DEL prices for ammonium sulfate include $325/st in the Southern Plains and $335/st in the Northern Plains, and are unchanged from the company’s previous postings on May 3. The FOB Houston price is also unchanged from May 3. IOC’s new ATS postings include $325/st FOB Houston and $335/st FOB Lubbock, Texas, with no current ATS pricing available out of Ohio River terminals.
