Colin Armstrong, 78, a British businessman who founded and owns large Ecuadorian ag input supplier Agripac, was rescued alive and well after a Dec. 16 kidnapping from his home in Baba, Ecuador, according to a Dec. 20 report by the Mirror. He was freed along with his partner. Some nine people were arrested in the incident.
