A small fire on April 16 at Koch Fertilizers’ Beatrice, Neb., nitrogen facility was quickly extinguished without any injuries or significant property damage and had no impact on production or loading, according to the company. Koch said a portable air compressor caught fire on plant property and employees moved it to an open pad area and called the local fire department.
