Orica, Melbourne, on Aug. 16 reported that it has taken another step towards achieving its net zero ambition by 2050 by announcing it will source 100% renewable electricity by 2040. It hopes to hit the 60% mark by 2030. The company said the commitment signals Orica’s intent to further decarbonize its operations and enhance its competitiveness in a lower carbon economy.
