Kaltim Offers Urea for Sale
Kaltim in Indonesia called an auction to sell at least one cargo. The reserve price was set at $321.50/mt FOB. The reserve price is only 50 cents above the last set of granular cargoes sold out of Indonesia.

Two Dead after Intrepid Potash Accident
Two men were electrocuted Saturday, Nov. 10, in an accident at Intrepid Potash Inc.’s Moab, Utah, potash, facility, according to the Deseret News. Another was critically injured. The incident occurred after industrial equipment touched a power line, according to the paper, citing the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office.
Bangladesh Issues New Tender
The Bangladesh government authorized another tender for bagged urea. BCIC called the tender to close Nov. 20 for 25,000 my each of bagged prilled and granular urea.
The tender was expected earlier this month after the government re-evaluated urea demand and supplies. Sources said the demand was higher than expected, leaving the county short of product.
The last tender showed results in the mid-$330s/mt CFR bagged.
