Indian Government Raises DAP Subsidies

In response to the ever-rising prices of phosphate fertilizers, the Indian government raised the subsidy for DAP from Rs500/45 kg bag to Rs1,200/bag. The subsidy will account for half the market price of DAP at the distribution centers, which is currently Rs2,400/bag (US$728/mt), and drops the price to farmers down to 2019 levels of Rs1,200/bag (US$364.20/mt). The last DAP sale into India was reported in the low-US$560s/mt CFR.
