LSB, Nutrien Plants Returning to Production

LSB Industries Inc. said today that on Sunday, Feb. 21, it began the phased restart of its Pryor, Okla., facility which was taken out of service due to cold weather that spurred a surge in natural gas prices as well as a pipeline curtailment. In addition, a gas supplier to the company’s El Dorado, Ark., plant declared force majeure on Feb. 17, materially restricting supply. However that plant has since returned to production.

Nutrien Ltd., reports that its Borger, Texas, plant is expected to return to production this week, as is its Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, plant.
