LSB Industries Inc. said today that on Sunday, Feb. 21, it began the phased restart of its Pryor, Okla., facility which was taken out of service due to cold weather that spurred a surge in natural gas prices as well as a pipeline curtailment. In addition, a gas supplier to the company’s El Dorado, Ark., plant declared force majeure on Feb. 17, materially restricting supply. However that plant has since returned to production.
Nutrien Ltd., reports that its Borger, Texas, plant is expected to return to production this week, as is its Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, plant.
New U.S. Export DAP business has been concluded this week at $580/mt for a 7,000 mt lot to Latin America, up $50/mt from the last done.

CVR Partners LP reported a 24 percent uptick in fourth-quarter volumes, with total ammonia/UAN volumes at 439,000 st up from the year-ago 355,000 st. However, prices were off for both products. CVR’s net loss for the quarter was $16.9 million, down from the year-ago $24.9 million.
