Sirius Minerals plc, Scarborough, England, today announced it has reached an exclusive 10-year supply and distribution agreement with European agri-business group, BayWa Agri Supply & Trade B.V. (BAST), a wholly-owned subsidiary of BayWa AG, based in Munich, for the distribution of Poly4 into Europe. Sirius said the deal is for guaranteed minimum volumes ramping up to 2.5 million mt/y in year five, taking the polyhalite developer’s aggregate peak contracted sales volume to 10.7 million mt/y – or some 12.1 million mt/y with customer options.
