Three potash miners were killed Oct. 1 after a controlled explosion at a K+S Group mine in the German state of Thueringia. A carbon dioxide leak after the explosion killed the three; four others were rescued.
The mine, which is near the town of Unterbreizbach, suffered no structural damage, K+S told Bloomberg. The mine will be temporarily closed for the investigation.
