OAO Uralkali CEO Vladislav Baumgertner has been removed from a Belarus jail to a private apartment in Minsk. Baumgertner was arrested Aug. 26. In the meantime, reports are that Suleiman Kerimov, who owns 21.7 percent of Uralkali, remains in negotiations to sell his stake, a move that could result in Baumgertner’s final release to go home to Russia.
