A mine worker was fatally injured at Belaruskali’s RU-3 potash mine on May 29, according to a report by Belarus’ pro-human rights news site Charter ’97, citing Belaruskali’s strike committee.
The mining and hauling machine operator was working some 620 metres underground when the accident occurred. A commission has been set up to investigate the accident.
