Bomb maker gets 10 years

Minneapolis-The U.S. District Court recently sentenced Allan Talmadge Weatherford, 45, to ten years in federal custody for threatening to blow up the Rice County Courthouse. In addition to a large arsenal of firearms, two propane tanks containing fertilizer and petroleum were found on Weatherford’s farm, though lab analysis indicated the mixture was not of the quality to produce an explosive. Weatherford had admitted his intention to make a fertilizer-based bomb.
