Mark Palmquist, CHS Inc. executive vice president and chief operating officer, will lead the crop nutrients business for CHS as part of the company’s Ag Business division. Agriliance Executive Vice President Rod Schroeder will lead the crop protection business for Land O’Lakes, and Executive Vice President Jim Blome will lead the Agriliance retail business. This is in light of the recent announcement of Agriliance’s repositioning and George Thornton’s retirement as CEO (GM June 25, p. 1). CHS said further structure will be communicated as it is determined.
Bunge Ltd. has named Jacqualyn Fouse chief financial officer, replacing Drew Burke, who served as interim CFO since April after William Wells left the company. Fouse previously served as senior vice president and CFO of Alcon Inc. since 2002. Before that, she was the CFO of SAirGroup from 2001 to 2002. Burke will return to his full-time position as co-chief executive of Bunge’s global agribusiness unit.
