New Delhi-India’s Sainik Aryan Group told Green Markets last week that it is eyeing a potash project in Ethiopia. The Ethiopian government has reportedly approved a mineral development license that would allow Sainik to build a US$500 million potash mine in the Afar Regional State. The area reportedly contains a 160 million mt deposit. Additional details were not immediately available.
