Potash Corp announces $260 M Aurora project

Saskatoon-Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Inc. said Jan. 24 that in November 2007 it commenced a $260 million debottlenecking project at its Aurora, N.C., phosphate facility that will add 180,000 mt of annual phosphoric acid production. PotashCorp said the majority of the cost involves constructing a new sulfuric acid plant, which is scheduled for completion in late 2009.
