The Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. announced the recent promotion of Korbin Riley to senior vice president. Riley oversees the Asia Pacific, global professional seed, and emerging markets. In this role Riley will continue to lead the expansion of Scotts’ professional and consumer businesses into emerging markets in Asia/Pacific, Latin America, and other world regions. He has been with Scotts since 1990.
Scotts also announces the promotion of Peter Korda to senior vice president. Korda, who joined the company in 2004, oversees all aspects of the Scotts LawnService business division, including strategy, expansion, and operations.
Other recent promotions include Mike Lukemire to executive vice president and Dave Swihart to senior vice president. Lukemire, executive vice president of Global Technologies and Operations, joined Scotts in 1995. Swihart, senior vice president, Global Supply Chain, oversees global improvements and stakeholder value by developing and executing continuous advancement of the ScottsMiracle-Gro Global Supply Chain. He joined Scotts in 1993.
Scotts has also promoted Jim King to senior vice president, corporate affairs. He has been with the company since 2001.
