Augusta-DSM Chemicals North America will reduce its Augusta, Ga., workforce by 80 due to the economic downturn. The reduction will reportedly not occur until June 30. The facility produces ammonium sulfate, caprolactum, and nylon polymers. Total employment at the location is put at 350.
