Terra Nitrogen Co. LP announces that Anne Lloyd has been elected to its board of directors. She will chair the audit committee. Since 1998, Lloyd, 48, has held senior financial and accounting positions with Martin Marietta Materials Inc. She has also held various positions at Ernst and Young LLP. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina in 1982, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Dennis Longmire, 63, retired from TNCLP’s Board on May 4, 2009, after serving as a director for 12 years.
Yara International ASA’s Chief Personnel Officer Anne Grethe Dalane on Aug. 1 will assume the position of regional director, Latin America, and country manager for Argentina in the Yara downstream segment. A new Yara chief personnel officer will be announced shortly.
David Jasinski, 60, of Wayne, N.J., passed away May 4. He was employed for over 25 years with American Cyanamid, with most of that time as international sales manager for the fiber division. He also worked for Goen Technologies and ITT Corp. He received a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Farleigh Dickinson University.

The Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. has named William Jurgensen to its board of directors, effective immediately. His appointment fills a vacancy on the board. He served as CEO of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. and Nationwide Financial Services until Feb. 19, 2009. Prior to his tenure there, he served as executive vice president of corporate and commercial banking at Bank One Corp. Jurgensen received an MBA and a Bachelors degree from Creighton University in Omaha. He will serve on the governance and nominating committee and the innovation & technology committee. His term expires in 2011.
