TFI donates $10,000 to Ronald McDonald Charities

Washington-The Fertilizer Institute (TFI) donated $10,000 on behalf of the fertilizer industry to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) during its recent annual Fertilizer Marketing Business Meeting. McDonald’s Corp. Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility Bob Langert was at the conference to participate in the Institute’s Distinguished Lecture Series, and he accepted the donation. “Bob provided the industry with important insight into his organization’s efforts to promote a multifaceted approach to sustainability that focuses on social, economic and environmental objectives. He shared McDonald’s belief in the power of the community to transform the world, and the strength of giving back to the community where its restaurants exist,” said TFI President Ford West. “It is an honor to be able to learn about the organization’s strategies, as well as contribute to its activities and efforts through this donation.”
