Pavel Grachev became president and CEO of Uralkali effective Aug. 5. He also became chairman of the Uralkali management board.
Grachev replaces Denis Morozov. Uralkali said the move came at the request of Kaliha Finance Ltd., which holds 25 percent of Uralkali.
“Since joining Uralkali, Denis Morozov has made a significant contribution to the company’s business,” said Dmitry Rybolovlev, Uralkali board chairman. “In particular, his extensive mining industry and management expertise helped to enhance the company’s management system as well as improve its production and financial results in the first half of 2010. I would like to thank Denis for his strong performance as Uralkali President and CEO.”
