Enid plant expected back up in 7-10 days

Enid, Oklahoma-Koch Nitrogen Co.’s nitrogen plant could be back up by Nov. 19 based on recent Koch assessments. A Koch spokesperson told Green Markets Nov. 12 that the plant could be back up within one week to ten days. The plant went down due to a fire Nov. 7. “Our assessment showed that damage from the fire on Wednesday (Nov. 7) was confined to a limited area of the plant,” Koch’s Melissa Cohlmia said. “We were able to begin repairs late last week. Work is progressing well and based on what we know today (Nov. 12), we anticipate the plant will be operational within a week to 10 days.”
