Atlanta-Georgia-Pacific Resins Inc. said Oct. 19 that it has reached a long-term agreement with Wilbur-Ellis Co. to expand the availability of Nitamin® liquid fertilizers. Wilbur-Ellis will have the exclusive right to distribute Nitamin fertilizers to the specialty agriculture and commodity crop markets that Wilbur-Ellis currently serves in the United States, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Wilbur-Ellis will also distribute Nitamin technology for the turf market. Nitamin liquid is a slowly available nitrogen source developed by Georgia-Pacific that releases nitrogen to plants over a 60- to 90-day period.
