Oslo-Yara International ASA said June 5 that it has priced its previously announced 10-year bond offering of US$500 million with a yield of 7.95 percent per annum. The bond offering of $500 million due June 11, 2019, was issued pursuant to rule 144A/Regulation S. The issue was well received in the market and was priced at a re-offer spread of 424.6 basis points over the U.S. Treasuries. The offering was placed with a number of high quality investors. The bonds have a coupon of 7.875 percent per annum. Both Moody’s and Standard & Poor’s have assigned a rating of the bonds of Baa2 and BBB, respectively.
